The Saskatchewan Arts Board is making significant changes to how it supports projects by artists and arts organizations. While many projects may continue to be eligible for funding, they will require application to other programs.

The Saskatchewan Arts Board Annual Report 2009-2010 is the winner of two 2011 Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS) National Awards. The report received Silver Awards of Excellence for Print Projects (External) and Writing (External).

Due to the upcoming provincial election in November, and the restrictions regarding advertising and promotion in the months leading up to the election, there will be no Lieutenant Governor's Arts Awards in 2011.

Eighteen touring projects, ranging from theatre, music and publishing to visual, media and multidisciplinary arts, were awarded a total of $265,000 in grants through the Saskatchewan Arts Board's Culture on the Go program at the February 2011 grant deadline.
