The Camp fYrefly Saskatchewan Artist in Residence (AIR) program hosts emerging and established artists who have demonstrated a commitment to innovation, exploration, community outreach, and public understanding of LGBTQ+ experiences and identities.  The AIR program draws from all disciplines, including painting, printmaking, sculpture, photography, video, music, literature, dance, conceptual and installation art, and contemporary performance.  Working collaboratively with our team of adult mentors, artists help introduce new techniques, materials, and ideas designed to help youth to grow individually and to transform their communities.

The Camp fYrefly AIR program is committed to strengthening the vitality of the arts and the powerful role they can play in public education and the pursuit of human rights and social justice for all youth.  All artists are encouraged to apply.  The AIR will commit to the full 4 days of camp (August 10 to 13, 2017) and the training session before camp (August 9).
